Namaste & Warm Greetings from the Ayurvedic team at the Sanctuary!
When the season changes, there is period of transition where we are more susceptible to sickness because seasonal changes bring environmental changes which causes changes in the predominant DOSHAS that rule the season. This sudden change in the Doshas can affect our immunity. In Ayurveda, the transition between the two seasons is called 'Ritu Sandhi'. While changing from one season to another, the regimen of the preceding season should be discontinued gradually and succeeding season should be adopted.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN IN THIS WORKSHOP:
- Seasonal changes and transition of Seasons (Ritu Sandhi) and its relevance to human body
- A seasonal regimen according to Ayurveda.
- Transition of diet and regimen according to seasonal changes.
Diet and Regimen for each season, with the main focus being on the 'Spring' season
- Importance of Panchakarma during Ritu Sandhi
